Production Leadership Programme
EVA are delighted to announce Ailbhe W. Drohan and Paddy Critchley as the participants in EVA’s Production Leadership programme. The programme is EVA’s pilot initiative to support research and training in areas of technical production for the visual arts in the Limerick region.
The programme for 2022 – 2023 consists of a funded programme of training and mentorship, focussing on the technical and curatorial production of EVA’s 40th edition in Autumn 2023. Ailbhe W. Drohan and Paddy Critchley will work alongside the EVA team in the role of ‘Associate Producer’, receive training workshops with partner arts organisations in Ireland and internationally, including GIBCA (Göteborg Biennial of Contemporary Art and Patina Art Collection Care Ltd ), in addition to undertaking independent research.

Biography
Paddy Critchley is an artist living and working in Limerick. He graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting from LSAD, and has work in the permanent collections of Limerick City Gallery of Art and The Hunt Museum. As a technician, Paddy recently worked on the 39th edition of EVA International, as well as many other shows across Ireland.
Ailbhe W. Drohan is an artist from Dublin, living and working in Limerick. Ailbhe recently graduated with a BA in Fine Art Sculpture from LSAD, and was the recipient of the National Sculpture Factory’s Graduate Residency Award and Bursary. As a technician, Ailbhe recently worked on the 39th edition of EVA International, as well as many other shows across Ireland.
