40th EVA International is open across venues in Limerick
The 40th EVA International – Ireland’s Biennial of Contemporary Art is open across 17 venues in Limerick city. We have produced a free visitor guide to help navigate your way through the programme, available as a digital version here and as a printed version available at key venues.
Venues
Please be aware that venues have differing operating days and hours, with some venues hosting one-off events only. Please check the visitor guide or here for up-to-date information.
Limerick is a small city with many EVA venues within walking distance of each other, but there are some venues (University of Limerick; Thomond Primary School) that are further afield.
City Centre
We have connected our city centre venues by a walking route guided by google maps here.
University of Limerick
Walk / Cycle: Connect to UL from Limerick city using our 1hr walking / 16 min bike route along the City Canal and River Shannon, guided by google maps here. There are also bike rental options in the city, for further info please see our visit page here.
Bus / Taxi: UL is accessible from the city by bus using the 304/304a Bus Éireann service. It departs every 15-30 mins and takes approx. 15 mins, stopping at multiple locations in the city. Download TFI Live app here to find stops close by and live timetable information. Taxi ranks are located on William Street and Cecil Street, or book through FreeNow or Uber.
