EVA Technical Production Team Recruitment

We are inviting expressions of interest from individuals to join our Technical Production Team for the 41st EVA International, taking place across Limerick city from 29 August – 26 October, 2025.

About the Role
Successful applicants will support the installation and de-installation of exhibitions across multiple EVA venues in Limerick city. They will work closely with participating artists and EVA’s production and curatorial team to ensure artworks are installed safely and professionally.

Terms
The project period runs from July – September 2025, candidates must be fully available throughout August 2025. This is a temporary contract-based opportunity suited to those with an interest or a background in art handling, gallery installation, technical theatre, construction, or related fields. We welcome expressions of interest from both experienced technicians and those newer to the field but eager to learn and contribute. Payment terms can be found out by contacting Ailbhe W. Key Tasks

• Handling, packing, and installing artworks of various media;
• Building exhibition infrastructure (e.g., walls, plinths, mounts);
• Basic lighting and AV setup;
• Manual handling and use of hand/power tools;
• Assisting head technicians and production team;
• Supporting a safe and organised working environment
