EVA Board of Directors: Call for Expressions of Interest

EVA International is seeking expressions of interest from artists and curators based in Ireland to join the Board of Directors. EVA would like to hear from individuals interested in shaping the future of contemporary art in Ireland, who are willing to give time, energy, and vision to the organisation at an exciting time in its development.

EVA was founded in 1977 and it continues a history of working with some of the world’s most influential artists and curators. EVA leads in the commissioning and curating of contemporary art by Irish and international artists, culminating in a programme of artistic encounters, exhibitions, and educational projects that take place evert two years across venues in Limerick city and beyond.

The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in supporting EVA’s small team, providing oversight and guidance on matters of EVA’s programme, operations, and partnerships, which are underpinned by a Strategic Plan covering the period 2019 – 2024. Currently, the Board of Directors consists of professionals from the representative fields of Law, Finance, Education, Business Strategy, and Arts Management. The appointment of an artist or curator to EVA’s Board of Directors is an opportunity to impact the organisation’s ambitious plans for development and sustainability over the coming years.

This a voluntary role that minimally requires attendance at meetings in Limerick, typically occurring every other month in the calendar year. Expressions of interest should consist of a cover letter and a brief CV outlining professional experience and profile. Please send to info@eva.ie before 31 October 2019.
