Dhá Theanga

EVA International are seeking expressions of interest from multilingual participants to be part of Dhá Theanga, a new project for the 39th EVA International – Ireland’s Biennial of Contemporary Art.

The project aims to engage with different language communities in Limerick and beyond, creating a platform of multi-language audio responses’ that engage with EVA’s 2020 exhibition programme. Each audio response will be made available through EVA’s website.

If you are a multilinguist based in the Limerick region and interested in being involved, we would like to hear from you. Participants will be fully supported, remunerated and guided with technical assistance and exhibition resources throughout their engagement with the project. No prior knowledge of contemporary art is necessary other than an interest and openness towards new ideas.

Please send an email outlining your interest and language abilities by 14 August 2020, to eimear@eva.ie. Please note that due to the volume of interest it may not be feasible to facilitate all expressions of interest.

Dhá Theanga is a part of the Better Words programme, an EVA International initiative which seeks to empower access and understanding of contemporary art through creative language projects. Dhá Theanga is additionally supported through the Magic Carpets Creative Europe Programme.
