Olaf Unverzart
b. 1972, Germany
Olaf Unverzart’s works are influenced as much by new topographies as by the conceptual street photography of Robert Frank. His subjects are often in locations with various meanings. He did long-term projects in the Alps, such as the famous Tour de France passing without the riders, and Bergungen, a series about avalanche-protection architecture. As a former road cyclist, he likes to take pictures of subjects he is really passionate about.
