When do we take our first unassisted breath?
Breath is the essence of human life. The
grains of sand which form the background
represent the uncounted breaths of a
lifetime. The pieces explore different
aspects of the way breath is experienced,
both internally and externally, physically
and psychically.
For me this is a journey where I recognise
the spaces where I have held my breath.
