Black Pond, 2018, Ý Berá – Aguas de Luz (Bright Waters), 2016
Two films that explored connections between ecological and museological conservation. Ý Berá depicted the second biggest wetland in the world (Iberá) with an incredible biodiversity of fauna and flora. Black Pond, an odyssey through a common land in the south of England told through the hands of the members of the local natural history society. Black Pond and Ý Berá – Aguas de Luz (Bright Waters) were screened as part of EVA at Belltable programme on 3 September 2023 as part of the 40th EVA International opening weekend.
Jessica Sarah Rinland is an artist, film and book maker who lives in London (UK). Rinland has presented work at public arts institutions and galleries including UT Downtown Gallery, Knoxville, Texas (US), Somerset House, London (UK) and the National Maritime Museum Greenwich, London (UK).
