Visitor Engagement Team Recruitment

We’re seeking expressions of interest for the 40th EVA International visitor engagement team which commences throughout August-October 2023.

EVA International – Ireland’s Biennial of Contemporary Art was founded by artists in 1977 and it remains one of the longest running visual arts organisations in Ireland, with a history of working with some of the world’s most influential artists and curators.

The visitor engagement team will play an important role in mediating artworks with public audiences, providing outstanding visitor experience at the exhibition front of house, and supporting the EVA team with behind the scenes operations. In return, participants can deepen their knowledge of contemporary Irish and international art, develop a variety of skills, see how a large-scale event is run, and meet and learn from art professionals.

Please send a brief introduction about yourself, your interest in being involved, and any relevant experience. We’re looking for a minimum commitment of 9 hours a week across multiple shifts. A stipend will be provided to all participants. Deadline for expressions of interest is 22 May, 2023.
